The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours need help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Wednesday 7am to 8am/ back up with another person
Wednesday /Thursday 12 midnight to 1 am,
Thursday 2 am to 3 am just for the month of May
Saturday 1pm to 2pm/back up with another person
Saturday 4pm to 5pm
If you can cover any of these hours, please let Trish in the office know
Ash Wednesday: Wednesday next 6th March is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of The Season of Lent. There will be Mass at 10am and 7.30pm. Ashes will be blessed and distributed at both Masses.
St Joseph’s Young Priest Society: Meeting on Wednesday 6th March after 10 am Mass in the Fermoy Parish Centre. All Welcome
Divine Mercy Prayer Group: Meeting on Tuesday 5th March in the Fermoy Parish Centre, at 8 pm. Praise, Song, Scripture, Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy. All welcome
Spring Stations 2019: A list of the Stations is available at the back of the church
Trócaire boxes: Are available at the back of the church, so please take one home and the funds you will raise will help to make a world of difference to those who needs it
St Padre Pio Prayer Group: The February Mass and Novena Prayers will take place at St Patrick’s Church, Fermoy on Friday 8th March at 7.30 pm. The Petition Box will be in the usual place at the back of the Church
Gaelscoil De Híde Fermoy: Open night takes place on Wednesday 7th March. A welcome to all young people & their parents who will be starting school in September 2019 to view the school and meet with the staff.
GAELSCOIL DEHÍDE FERMOY ORAL IRISH COURSE: One Day Oral Irish Course will take place on the 9th March 2019 from 9.30am to 3.30pm in Gaelscoil de hÍde Fermoy. Cost €70. Tel 025 31217.
THE ANCHORAGE INSTITUTE: Are Offering a SOUL ENRICHMENT COURSE (OVER 5 SATURDAYS March -June 10AM-4PM) .Learning to listen with the heart- Blue Nun Convent, College road, Fermoy. Light lunch provided. More information at 087 167 9586
Fermoy active Retirement Group: Meeting takes place on Wednesday 6th March at 2.30 pm in the Fermoy Youth Centre. Entertainment for the afternoon Poetry and Storytelling with Nelius O Neil. All members welcome
Fermoy Flower & Garden Club: Will host Nora Gallagher (Aoifa) to give a demonstration.’ spring, inspired by nature’ on Tuesday 5th March in the Adair Hall at 8 PM. All welcome. Visitors €7 euro.
Irish month (bliain na Gaeilge): It’s Seachtain na Gaeilge and to mark the occasion, we invite those who have a grá for the cúpla focal to join us in Grand hotel on March 7th at 7.30 just to listen, join in the chat maybe and enjoy same over the cupán tae! Fáilte isteach, Bí linn
