The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours need help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Tuesday 12 pm to 1pm/Back up with another person
Wednesday 12 Noon to 1pm, Wednesday 1pm to 2pm
Wednesday 9pm to 10pm, Friday 8am to 9am, Friday 7pm to 8pm
Saturday 1pm to 2pm, Saturday 4pm to 5pm,
If you can cover any of these hours, please let Trish in the parish office know. As the backup list is now empty, we request Adorers to ask friends/family to cover their hour while on Holidays

St Padre Pio Prayer Group: The May Mass and Novena Prayers will take place at St Patrick’s Church, Fermoy on Friday 10th May at 7.30 pm. The Petition Box will be in the usual place at the back of the Church.

Rosary for the month of May: Rosary 8pm each night during the month of May at grotto in Queen of Peace church Dublin Road.

Cloyne Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock: Sunday 12th May 2019. Bus will depart Parse Sq. Fermoy 7am sharp & return 10pm. Names to be given to Maura 086 1231368 or to any member of the legion of Mary. All Welcome

Relationship Workshop: A three hour workshop will address different aspects of relationships on Saturday 11th May in The Parish Centre (Blue Nuns) from 11am to 2pm. Cost €5 donation to Barnardos. Please contact Una 087 6263934 to book a place wish are limited

Fermoy & District Lourdes Invalids Fund: A Bingo night takes place Thursday 9th May in The Wagon Tavern at 8.30 pm. The raffle on the night will be for the Fermoy & district Lourdes invalid Fund. Please support.

Fermoy Musical Society: Will hold its AGM this Tuesday May 7th at 8.15 in Fermoy Youth Centre. Past, present & new members are all invited to attend. If you would like further information please call Michelle 0866623485

Petition of saving the weir: A petition will be made available to sign to “Save the weir “next Saturday from 11am to 1pm outside Centra.

Fermoy flower and garden club: Will host Sheila Gilbert(Aoifa) to give a demonstration” The Merry Month of May” on Tuesday 7th May, in the Adair Hall at 8 PM. All welcome. Visitors €7.

Fermoy Senior Citizen’s Association: will travel to Castleblaney Co Monaghan, the hometown Big Tom McBride for a two night trip from the 21st May to the 23rd May. Staying in the Glencarn Hotel, Castleblaney for two night’s dinner, B&B including night of dancing with breakfast and dinner. The Castle Arms Hotel in Durrow included en-route. Cost €285

World Day of Prayer For Vocations: Sunday, May 12, “Good Shepherd Sunday.” The purpose of this day is to pub-lically fulfil the Lord’s instruction to, “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send labourers into his harvest” (Mt 9:38; Lk 10:2). Please pray that young men & women hear & respond generously to the Lord’s call to the priesthood, diaconate & religious life.
