The Annual collection for flowers for The Altars for both St Patrick’s Church & Queen of Peace Church: Will take place this weekend 18th/19th January 2020.This collection is to supply flowers for both Churches throughout the year. Please support this great work that the Altar society do in having the church beautifully decorated at all times especially just like Christmas gone.
The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours need help/backup with another person in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

The use of the Psalms goes back thousands of years: The Book of Psalms is a collection of 150 sacred hymns for private and public worship. In the Temple the Psalms would have been sung by two alternating groups. This “back and forth” movement happens throughout the Mass, for example “The Lord be with you…….And with your Spirit”. Jesus would have recited the exact same Psalms that we do today.

Cork Penny Dinners Fundraiser: Wellness & craft fair in aid of Cork Penny Dinners at The Metropole Hotel Cork, Sunday the 26th of January 12.00pm till 5.00pm. On the day readings, massages, Kinesiology, reflexology & various treatments, hair styling, nail art, crystals, jewellery books, jams, hats, accessories and much more, music on the day. Admission €5. Kids go free. All proceeds on the day go to Cork Penny Dinners, we are looking forward to see you there.

GROW Community Mental Health Organisation: weekly support group for anyone who may be experiencing any emotional or mental health difficulties. Meetings in the Fermoy Resource Centre, Tuesday 10:30am. Over18 years Meetings are based on a 12-Step program & are anonymous, confidential & free. No referrals are required. Fermoy Catechism Course Launch
Tue Feb 4th 2020 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Fermoy parish will run a catechism programme that is also open to those who come from outside the parish.
The Introductory, “Come and See” night will take place on Tuesday 4th Feb, 7.30pm at Corrin Events Centre (Cork Marts).
The course will use the recently published “Youcat Companion” written by Fr Seán Corkery (Cloyne priest) and Máirín Ní Shúlleabháin who will introduce the course at the open night.Duration of course: One night per week (Tuesdays) over the months: Feb, Mar, Apr, May, (Summer Break), Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec.
