Offertory Collection this weekend is for The Parish Reserve Fund.

Offertory Collection next weekend is The Annual Collection for The Chaplaincy Work provided to Irish Emigrants.

Thursday 17th March is The Feast of St. Patrick a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses for St. Patrick’s Day are
Vigil Mass at 7.30pm on Wednesday 16th; Masses on Thursday 17th are at 10.30am and 12.00 noon in St. Patrick’s Church. Mass at 8.30am on Thurs. 17th March in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. No Evening Mass on Thursday 17th March.

The Lenten /Spring Stations for 2011 continue. The Stations for the coming week are:

Bellevue, Gearagh, Carrigabrick, Bettyville, Ballinafauna and Ballinveelick on Monday 14th March at Noel & Helen Harris at 8.00pm.

Knockannanig, Coolroe, Coolmakee and Deerpark on Saturday 19th March at 11.00am at Chrissie McCarthy & Family Glenabo.

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy on Wednesday next, 16th March at 11.00am. We wish the Boys & Girls, their Families and their Teachers every blessing and happiness at this special time in their lives.

Congratulations to all who were involved in any way with last Sunday’s televised Mass from St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy. Everyone involved did an excellent job to portray our Parish and our Fermoy wider Community as a wonderful place to live. We are all so proud to be a part of our Fermoy Parish Family. TROCAIRE: On this first Sunday in Lent Trocaire is asking people to stand in solidarity with those in the developing world who are living in fear and in danger simply because they are poor. Please take a Trocaire Box home with you today and remember the world’s poor this Lent. The Fermoy St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee are asking all those who wish to take part in the parade to register on the website by Monday 14th March. This is to facilitate the orderly start to the parade. All those who register will be allocated a position in the parade; all those who do not register will be placed to the back of the parade. The website is The parade starts at 11:00 a.m. at Cavanagh’s Garage, Cork Road and ends this year in Pearse Square.

An Irish night will be hosted by Nuala Fitzgibbon in her homely ‘teach tabhairne’ this Sat. night at 9pm and all welcome.
