Lent/Spring stations: Fr. Aquin, Fr. Eugene and Fr. P.J. wish to thank you very sincerely for attending your Station Masses and for your Station Offerings. A big word of thanks to all who hosted the Stations in their homes and to the members of the Parish Council and their helpers who delivered the envelopes to the homes of their Station Areas.
Holy Week begins this Sunday, Palm Sunday. Palms will be blessed at all Masses. Stations of the Cross on Corrin being led by Fermoy Parish at 3pm.
Holy Thursday 21st April:
Mass at 5.00pm incl. â€œDo This in Memoryâ€ St. Patrick’s Church.
Mass at 7.30pm Mass of The Lord’s Supper St. Patrick’s Church followed by Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament at The Altar of Repose in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church until 12 Midnight.
Good Friday 22nd April:
Stations of The Cross 12 noon Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
Solemn Celebration of The Lord’s Passion 3pm St. Patrick’s Church. Following this Ceremony The Bi-Centenary Cross in The Church Grounds will be un-veiled and blessed.
Stations of the Cross 7.30pm St. Patrick’s Church.
Holy Saturday 23rd April:
Easter Vigil 9.00pm St. Patrick’s Church.
( No 7.30pm Mass next Saturday).
Easter Sunday: Masses 10.30am & 12noon St. Patrick’s.
8.30am & 6.30pm Our Lady Queen of Peace.
Penitential Service Tuesday 19th April 8pm St. Patrick’s Church.
Confessions: Good Friday 11.30am to 1.00pm and after 3.00pm Liturgy.
Holy Saturday 11.30am to 2.00pm and 5.00pm to 6.00pm
ANNUAL CLOYNE DIOCESAN PILGRIMMAGE to KNOCK takes place this year on Sunday 8th May. A bus will travel from Fermoy as usual. Bus leaves Pearse Square at 700am. Bookings are now open. DIVINE MERCY Novena begins on Good Friday. Divine Mercy Devotions on Sunday 1st of May in St. Patrick’s Church Fermoy 2.45pm to 4.00pm. Everyone welcome.

ON MONDAY APRIL 18TH TO GOOD FRIDAY APRIL 22ND, FIVE PRIESTS OF THE DIOCESE OF CLOYNE ARE SCHEDULED TO PREACH HOMILIES RECORDED EARLIER THIS YEAR IN THE CATHEDRAL AT 10.30 AM AND 7.00 PM ON EWTN (Sky 589).
THESE HALF-HOUR LENGTH PROGRAMMES WILL FEATURE CHANT SUNG BY THE CATHEDRAL CHOIRS. THERE WILL ALSO BE FOOTAGE OF THE CATHEDRAL AND THE TOWN OF COBH. TUNE IN

National spring clean 2011 Bellview, Strawhall and Glenarouske areas.The residents of the above areas will meet on Monday April 18th for our annual spring clean.We will meet at Fant’s Cross at 6.30 pm sharp.Please bring gloves and a reflective garment for your safety.Your help would be greatly appreciated to build on the success of our previous clean ups so please come along and meet the neighbours while clearing the litter.
Drug & Alcohol Information Evening will be provided by Cloyne Diocesan Youth Service in conjunction with the Fermoy Community Garda. Guest speakers include members of Narcotic Anonymous who will be present to discuss their own stories of recovery from addiction. The community drugs worker will discuss the effects of different drugs including the harmful effects of solvent use. Venue: Fermoy Community Youth Centre. Date: Monday 18th April at 7.30pm. Now with the spring drawing to a close and the summer months fast approaching us you may be wondering what to do with your time?
