Next Tuesday  1st November  is the Feast of All Saints and is a HolyDay of Obligation. Masses at 7.30 pm (Vigil Mass)  Monday  Evening, 8.30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace; 10.30am; 12..00 noon and 7.30 pm at St. Patrick’s Church. (No Tuesday  Evening  Mass at  Our Lady Queen of Peace Church)

 

Next Wednesday  2nd November is the Feast of All Souls. Additional Mass in Our Lady Queen ofPeaceChurch at 9.30am.

 

Next Sunday,  November 6th Visitation of the Cemeteries and Prayers for All the Faithful Departed will take place at Castlehyde Cemetery at 2.30 pm and Kilcrumper Cemeteries at 3 pm.

 

Envelopes for the November Masses for The Faithful Departed will be available from 1st November. These envelopes along with the names of your faithful departed can be returned during the Month of November. Each Priest in the Parish will offer 12 Masses each for all the names included in The November Dead list for The Parish of Fermoy.

 

Monday is a Bank Holiday, Morning Mass at 10 am (no 7.45 am Mass)

 

We thank all who helped in the many different ways in the Churches of our parish during the month of  October.  We ask Collectors Group 1 to please take up duty next weekend for the month of  November.

 

1st Friday/Saturday – Vigil of Reparation in Adoration Chapel.

Begins at 8.3o p.m and ends at 1.30 a.m.Mass at 12 Midnight. All welcome.

Friday is the First Friday of the Month of November. Confessions on Thursday, 12noon -1 pm. Additional Mass on Friday at 9.30 am., Our Lady Queen ofPeaceChurch.

 

Divine Mercy Prayer Group     will meet on Thursday Nov 3rd,in the Blue Nun’s chapel,Monument Hill,
8.15pm-9.15pm.Song prayer,reflection. All Welcome.

 

MALAWI ORPHAN APPEAL FUND – early Christmas sale.  We will have a table at a ‘Table Sale’ in the Adair Hall, Fermoy (besideChristChurch) next Saturday 5 November.  We have a small number of lovely throws and bedspreads and lots of other beautiful (new) things – excellent Christmas presents at great value.  There will be lots of other tables under different banners and refreshments also served.  10am – 5pm, Saturday 5 November.  We have just paid school fees for 38 students this year and sent funds for the food growing project so we will welcome any support you can give.

 

Fermoy Minors take on Newcestown  in the County Final on this Sunday 30th October in Ballincollig at 2.30pm.  Your support  would be very welcome.

Fermoy under 16 Girls   are also in a County Final taking on Clonakilty. This match will follow the Fermoy Minors  also in Ballincollig  at 4.30pm on Sunday 30th Oct. . Your support would be also very much appreciated and best of luck to both teams.

Please note that if you are travelling to the matches  that The South Ring By-Pass will be closed all this weekend.

LOSS and RECOVERY:

Grieving the loss of a loved one is hard. It involves our emotions, our thoughts, our memories-in fact our whole self.   You do not have to do it alone.  The Emmaus Support Group will journey with you in a safe, confidential and caring atmosphere.

When ?       Commencing on this  Sunday 30th October 2011. ( It will continue for 6 consecutive Sundays).

Time     3.00pm  to  4.30pm.

Where?    The Little Company of Mary, “Lima”, College Road, Fermoy.
