This Sunday, November 6th Visitation of the Cemeteries and Prayers for All the Faithful Departed will take place at Castlehyde Cemetery at 2.30 pm and Kilcrumper Cemeteries beginning at 3 pm at Kilcrumper Old Cemetery and proceeding afterwards to Kilcerumper New.

Envelopes for the November Masses for The Faithful Departed are available at both Churches. These envelopes along with the names of your faithful departed can be returned during the Month of November. Each Priest in the Parish will offer 12 Masses each for all the names included in The November Dead list for The Parish of Fermoy.

The Annual Mass for those who died in our Parish over the past 12 months will be celebrated on the coming Friday 11th November at 7.30p,m in St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy. Everybody is welcome to this Mass and you will have an opportunity during the Mass to light a candle in memory of all your loved ones who have died.

St. Padre Pio Prayer Group: November Mass and Novena prayers will take place at St. Patrick’s Church at 7.30 pm on Tuesday next 8th November. Everyone welcome. The Petition box will be in the usual place at the back of the Church. A First Class Relic of St. Pio will be available for individual blessing. Also St. Pio 2012 Calendars will be on sale before Mass priced €2.

AUTUMN STATIONS:
As the Autumn Stations are almost over, Fr. Aquin, Fr. Eugene and Fr. P.J. wish to say a very sincere word of thanks to all who hosted Station Masses in their homes and to all who attended the Stations. Also many thanks for your generous Station Offerings which is your way of supporting the Priests of the Parish. A special word of thanks to all the members of The Parish Council and their helpers who delivered the Station Envelopes to the homes of the Parish. There is one Station remaining and that Station will be on
Friday week 18th Nov: Area 23 Corrin John Fant 8pm.

Fermoy and District Active Retirement Association will hold their Annual Mass on Wednesday next 9th November at 3.00pm in The Resource Centre. All members and new members welcome.

All Night Vigil for the Holy Souls in Purgatory will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Rochestown, Cork on Friday 18th November 2011. The Vigil commences with Benediction at 10.00pm and concludes with Mass at 6.30am on Saturday 19th November. “ It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sin” Maccabees 12:46

Fermoy Branch of St. Josephs Young Priests Society wish to thank everyone for your generous support of their collection at last weekend’s Masses.

Fermoy Senior Citizens Association will travel to Conna on Friday 11th November for a Social Evening with other Senior Citizens Groups. A great night out is assured. Bus leaving Shinnick’s, McDermott Place at 7.00pm and at 7.10pm from Spar, Emmett Street. Cost €8. For further information contact Frances on 086-8762355.

The Fermoy Family Co-ordinating Group are hosting a new Family Communication parenting course to begin on Thursday 17th November in the Youth Centre. No Cost involved. 8 weeks, one night a week. Please book in through the Fermoy Resource centre at 025 – 32962.
