Offertory Collection next weekend First Sunday Collection Diocesan Purposes.

The following Hours of Adoration need to be covered in The Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Fermoy 7.00 to 8.00pm Saturday Evening; 7.00am to 8.00am early Sunday Morning and 8.00pm to 9.00pm Sunday Evening. If anyone can cover any of these hours even for a short while please let one of the priests know.

We thank all who helped in the many different ways in the Churches of our parish during the month of January. We ask Collectors Group 4 to please take up duty next weekend for the month of February. 7.30pm Vigil Mass Joe Lillis; Sean McCarthy; Mark Cotter & Maria Murphy. 10.30am Mass Fran Groarke; Claire Lombard & Jim Cotter. 12.00noon Mass Vera Noonan; Paddy Butler; Mike Gowen & Frances Linehan.

Friday is the First Friday of the Month. Confessions on Thursday, 12noon -1 pm. Additional Mass on Friday at 9.30 am., Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.

St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society AGM will be held in The Resoure Centre Fermoy on Wednesday week 8th February at 2.15pm. Everyone welcome, especially new members.

Thursday 2nd February Feast of The Presenration of The Lord Candlemas: Candles will be blessed at all Masses on Thursday.

Friday 3rd February Feast of St. Blaise:
Blessing of throats after all Masses on Friday.

Divine Mercy Prayer Group will meet on Thursday Feb 2nd, in the Blue Nuns Chapel,Monument Hill, 8.15pm-9.15pm.Prayer,song,reflection. All Welcome.

FERMOY AND DISTRICT ACTIVE RETIREMENT will hold a meeting in the Fermoy Youth and Community Centre at 2.30pm on Wednesday February 1st 2012. All Welcome.

Coffee Afternoon in Fermoy Community Resource Centre
There will be a coffee afternoon for senior citizens every Wednesday afternoon from 2.30 to 4.00 in the Resource Centre, McCurtain Street, Fermoy. Come along for a cup of tea, fresh scones and a chat. (€2 contribution towards cost). All welcome. Tel: Mary Connell at 025 32962.

FERMOY MEN’S CLUB: Meeting will be held in The Grand Hotel on Monday 30th January at 2.30pm. At the meeting The Fermoy Men’s Club Committee will be elected to chart a course (by consensus) to meet the individual needs of members. If interested in joining Fermoy Men’s Club, you are invited to come along at 2.30pm this Monday for tea/coffee and a chat in the Grand Hotel.

FERMOY BRANCH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (MS)
THE AGM OF ABOVE BRANCH WILL TAKE PLACE ON SUNDAY 12TH FEB at 2PM IN THE PITCH AND PUTT CLUBHOUSE. ALL MEMBERS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AND WILL BE VERY WELCOME. LIGHT REFRESHMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER MEETING.
