Offertory Collection Next Weekend Parish Reserve Fund.
The following Hour of Adoration needs to be covered in The Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Fermoy. 4.00am to 5.00am early Monday morning. If anyone can cover this hour even for a short while, please let one of the priests know.
The Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver are visiting Fermoy Parish, this weekend 21st /22nd April and will be speaking at all Masses. They will be making an appeal on behalf of the missions. They will be talking about their work and will be grateful for your support. The Offertory Collection this weekend will be taken to help support the missionary work of The Sisters of St. Peter Claver.
INTERNATIONAL EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS 2012 Day of Prayer & Reflection on Saturday next 28th April 2012 in Mallow. â€œ The Eucharist : A Mystery to be Livedâ€. The Day will be directed by Fr. Pat Gayer O.S.A. The day begins with Mass at 10.00am in St. Maryâ€™s Church, Mallow. Registration for the day will follow in The Hibernian Hotel, Mallow. The day will conclude at 4.30 pm. Cost for the day (including lunch) is â‚¬20. All welcome and in particular all involved in Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration and those who assist in the Liturgy are invited.
Emmaus Support Group:
You do not have to stay with your sadness! Emmaus Support |group is there to help you through the pain of loss and grief. You are assured of a safe and confidential space to share. Beginning next Wednesay April 25th and continuing for six consecutive Wednesdays.

The Annual Cloyne Diocesan Pilgrimmage to Knock takes place this year on Sunday 13th May. A bus will travel from Fermoy as usual. Bus leaves Pearse Square at 7.00am. Bookings are now open. Presbyterian Church Greenhill Fermoy You are warmly invited to an evening of Praise and Worship on Sunday 22nd April 8pm-9pm at Fermoy Presbyterian Church. During the evening there will be congregational singing using traditional and modern hymns along with prayers and Scripture readings. After the praise and worship there will be a light supper.
Fermoy Musical Society â€œCarouselâ€ will open this Sunday 22nd 8.00 pm at Fermoy Community Youth Centre and run for six performances to 28th. Tickets from the Book Shop, Pearse Sq. and 087 1172 095 . A great night out is assured.
FERMOY SENIOR CITIZENS ASSOCIATION AGM will be held on Tuesday next 24th April at 8.00pm in The Resource Centre, McCurtin Street. All members are invited to attend. Anyone willing to help out during the year is especially welcome.
FERMOY TIDY TOWNS COMMITTEE will hold a Flagday on Thursday next 26th April. Having received various National & County Awards, we are seeking your continued support to enable The Committee to continue improving the image of Fermoy.

Most people do not realise just how prevalent bowel cancer is (also known as colorectal cancer or colon cancer). In order to raise the awareness of the disease amongst the general public, clinicians in Cork University Hospital (CUH), are holding a free information session from 2.00pm to 4.00pm on Saturday 28th April 2012 in the lecture theatre at CUH. This event is part of Bowel Cancer Awareness month and is supported by the Irish Cancer Society.
