Offertory Collection Next Weekend First Sunday Collection Diocesan Purposes.

The following Hours of Adoration need to be covered in The Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Fermoy. 4.00am to 5.00am early Monday morning and 9.00pm to 10.00pm on Sunday Night. If anyone can cover these hours even for a short while, please let one of the priests know.

We thank all who helped in the many different ways in the Churches of our parish during the month of May. Fermoy Pioneer Total Abstinence Association:
Anyone who qualifies for a Gold or Silver Pin are asked to give their names into the sacristy or to one of the priests or to any member of the P.T.A.A. as soon as possible.

Maranatha Prayer Meeting: Come and join us for an hour of prayer and meditation, all are welcome, this Wednesday evening at 8.00 pm at the Blue Nuns on Monument Hill. Our focus is on Renewal of the Church, on Healing and on Unity in accordance with the wishes of the Lord Jesus.

Farewell Evening for Fr. Eugene Baker:
At Wednesday’s Meeting of The Parish Council it was decided to organise an evening to give the People of Fermoy the opportunity to say farewell to Fr. Eugene Baker and to thank him for his 12 years of dedicated service to the People and The Parish of Fermoy. This will take place on Sunday 1st July at 5pm in The Fermoy Pitch & Putt Clubhouse. It was also decided to make a presentation to Fr. Baker at this function. The Offertory Collection on Sunday 10th June will be taken for this purpose. If you would like to be associated with this presentation you are invited to make your contribution to the collection on the 10th.

Welcome Fr. Sean: This weekend we welcome to Fermoy, Fr. Sean Corkery. Fr. Sean will be helping out on the Sundays of the summer until there is an appointment to replace Fr. Baker.

Best of luck to Vera Noonan ( a Member of Fermoy Parish Choir) who is competing this Sunday 27th May in The Final of The Over 60’s Talent Competition at The City Hall Cork.

FERMOY SENIOR CITIZEN’S ASSOCIATION TRIP TO MAYO
Fermoy Senior Citizen’s Association are travelling to Westport in Co Mayo on the 24th -27th of July next staying in the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport town for 3 nights to included dinner bed and breakfast together with several sightseeing tours of the many local sights and places of interest. Total cost of trip is €280 per person sharing with an additional single room supplement of €15. To book a place please contact Francis on 086 8762355.

Fermoy Branch Multiple Sclerosis extends an invitation to friends and family to our Annual Galtee Walk on Sunday 17th June at 10am. Fun day to be had by all and a great chance to meet old and new friends on this our 31st annual walk. Sponsorship cards available from Mary 087-6682834 or William 087-2446077 or any comm member.

Fermoy Resource Centre Pre-School.
A new preschool service in now operating in Fermoy Resource Centre, McCurtain Street, Fermoy. It is available to all who need a childcare service in and around the Fermoy area. It is open Monday to Friday 9.15 to 12.15. Small class – 8 children and two leaders. There are full/part-time places available. Free places are available to those who qualify for the Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme. For further information please contact Trena or Aine on 025 32962.
