Offertory Collection this weekend First Sunday Collection Diocesan Purposes

Offertory Collection Next Weekend will be taken for the purpose of making a presentation to Fr. Eugene Baker at The Farewell Evening organised for Sunday July 1st. If you would like to be associated with this presentation you are invited to make your contribution to the collection on next Sunday 10th June.

The following Hours of Adoration need to be covered in The Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Fermoy. 4.00am to 5.00am early Monday morning and 5.00am to 6.00am early on Tuesday morning. If anyone can cover these hours even for a short while, please let one of the priests know.

St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society Fermoy next meeting will take place on Tuesday 5th June at 11.00am in the Resource Centre McCurtain Street. Please note change of date & time.

Corpus Christi Procession: Next Sunday is the Solemnity of Corpus Christi (The Body and Blood of Christ). The Annual Fermoy Corpus Christi Procession will take place after the 7.30pm Vigil Mass on Saturday 9th June from St. Patrick’s Church to The Town Park. You are all very welcome to walk in the Procession and as The International Eucharistic Congress begins in Dublin that weekend, it would be great to see as many people as possible present to show their belief in The Real Presence of Jesus in The Blessed Eucharist. A very special welcome to the boys & girls who received their First Holy Communion this year. The 7.30pm Mass will be your final Mass of the “Do this in Memory” Programme.

St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society Annual Pilgrimmage to Knock will take place on Saturday 23rd June. Bus leaves Pearse Square at 7.00am. Due to return by 10.30pm. Bookings are now open at The Book Shop, Pearse Square or by phoning Catherine 025/32129. Joan 087/2268113 Bernie 025/31499.

Fermoy Senior Citizen’s Association are travelling to Westport in Co Mayo on the 24th -27th of July next staying in the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport town for 3 nights to included dinner bed and breakfast together with several sightseeing tours of the many local sights and places of interest. Total cost of trip is €280 per person sharing with an additional single room supplement of €15. To book a place please contact Francis on 086 8762355.

Fermoy & District Active Retirement Association will hold a meeting on Wednesday 6th June at The Fermoy Youth & community Centre, Ashe Quay The Mayor of Fermoy, Cllr. Michael Hanley will be the guest speaker at this meeting. All are welcome.

Clondulane Country Fair is being held next Saturday the 9th June, this is an all day event starting from early morning but the official opening by Peter Kelly (better known as Franc) will be at 12.30. The schedule of entertainment can be found on Facebook and on our webpage www.clondulanensfundraiser.ie, enquiries to either 086 8861058 or clondulaneffd@gmail.com. We will have baking competitions, stickmaking competitions and photography competitions. Along with these competitions we will have World War 2 re-enactment display, Lumberjack Display, Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet Show and Racing, Pet Dog Show, Birds of Prey Display, RSA Roll over simulator, Bouncy Castles, Pony Rides, Barrel Train, Agility Dogs, Gun Dog Trials, Zorbing, Laser Clay Pigeon and much more………..Come join in the fun, entry to the field is €5 per adult, children free. Proceeds to Clondulane National School.

Fermoy Branch Multiple Sclerosis extends an invitation to friends and family to our Annual Galtee Walk on Sunday 17th June at 10am. Fun day to be had by all and a great chance to meet old and new friends on this our 31st annual walk. Sponsorship cards available from Mary 087-6682834 or William 087-2446077 or any comm member.

Fermoy Resource Centre Pre-School.
A new preschool service in now operating in Fermoy Resource Centre, McCurtain Street, Fermoy. It is available to all who need a childcare service in and around the Fermoy area. It is open Monday to Friday 9.15 to 12.15. Small class – 8 children and two leaders. There are full/part-time places available. Free places are available to those who qualify for the Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme. For further information please contact Trena or Aine on 025 32962.

Fermoy Flower and Garden Club will host Jimmy of Every Blooming Thing Flower Shop to give a demonstration of wedding flowers[church and bridal party] on Tuesday June 5th at 8.00 p.m. in the Adair Hall.. All welcome. Visitors €5.
