Offertory Collection this weekend Parish Reserve Fund
Offertory Collection next weekend Annual Collection to help support the Retired Priests in The Diocese of Cloyne.

The following Hours of Adoration need to be covered in The Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Fermoy. 4.00am to 5.00am early Monday morning and 5.00am to 6.00am early on Tuesday morning and 12.00noon to 1.00pm also on Tuesday. If anyone can cover these hours even for a short while, please let one of the priests know.

Fermoy Maranatha prayer group welcome a visit to Fermoy from a team over from Manchester – the home of the Maranatha Community, arriving midweek they will hold a series of events around North Cork from the 21st to the 25th of June. A special meeting headlined “Jesus IS the healing that we need” will take place on Saturday next the 23rd June at the Presentation School on College Road, Fermoy at 2.30 pm finishing around 4.30 pm. A meeting will take place at the same venue on Monday 25th June at 7.30 pm headlined “Jesus our Rock”. Come and join us at either or both events and be swept away by the vision of a better future. Maranatha prays for Renewal, Healing and Unity in the Body of Christ.

St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society Annual Pilgrimmage to Knock will take place on Saturday 23rd June. Bus leaves Pearse Square at 7.00am. Due to return by 10.30pm. Bookings are now open at The Book Shop, Pearse Square or by phoning Catherine 025/32129. Joan 087/2268113 Bernie 025/31499.

Children’s Liturgy
We are taking a break now from the Children’s Liturgy for the summer and we will return again in September. We would like to thank all the children and their parents who came along each Sunday. We would also like to thank the Priests and the Blue Nuns for all their help and support through out the year.

Gael Scoil de hIde Summer Fete will take place this Sunday June 17th from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Loads to do. All Welcome.

Fermoy Senior Citizen’s Association are travelling to Westport in Co Mayo on the 24th -27th of July next staying in the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport town for 3 nights to included dinner B&B and a number of tours to include Kylemore Abbey, Clifden, Achill Island and Knock Shrine. Total cost of trip is €280 per person sharing with an additional single room sup

Fermoy and District Active Retirement Association,will meet in Chapel Square, Cork Road ,on Wed.June 20th.at 2.30pm.from where Christy Roche will take members on a conducted walking tour of places of historical ,and general interest in the southern side of Fermoy.N.B.change of venue.

Fermoy Macra are holding a Tug-of-War fundraiser for Special Needs Fermoy on Friday the 22nd of June. It will take place at Clondulane Pub at 7.30p.m. There will be a BBQ and DJ afterwards. Set to be a great night. Fermoy Macra’s next meeting takes place at the Wagon Tavern Fermoy, Monday the 18th at 9.00pm. New members very welcome. Fermoy Widows Association will hold their Annual Mass on Thursday next 21st June at 7.30pm in St. Colman’s College Chapel. All widows & friends welcome.

MALAWI ORPHAN APPEAL FUND – GARDEN FETE at Blackley’s, Gurrane Fermoy – NEXT SUNDAY 24 June, 2pm – 5pm.
As always, we will have a range of stalls from cakes and plants to a gift stall with beautiful, new continental items from throws, tablecloths to bird houses and lots more – all donated to be sold for the orphans. These are top quality and beautiful design and we sell them for a fraction of their proper price – so don’t miss the chance to find a terrific bargain for yourself or a special gift. There will also be games (children welcome) and delicious tea/coffee and cakes. Admission: adults €5 and a donation for children. Enjoy tea and a stroll around in an old-fashioned country garden – for a good cause. We fund raise to keep the orphans in their home villages and at school.
