The following Hours of Adoration need to be covered in The Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Fermoy. 4.00pm to 5.00pm on Sunday Afternoon. 12noon to 1.00pm and 1.00pm to 2.00pm on Wednesday Afternoon. And 1.00pm to 2.00pm Friday afternoon. If anyone can cover these hours even for a short while, please let one of the priests know.

St. Padre Pio Prayer Group: The October Mass and Novena prayers will take place at St. Patrick’s Church at 7.30 pm on Tuesday. Everyone welcome. The Petition box will be in the usual place at the back of the Church.

Day for Life Sunday 7th October:
Copies of The Pastoral Letter from The Irish Bishops’ Conference are available at the back of the Church. Please take a copy home to read. Also Postcards from The Prolife Campaign are available, to be sent to your T.D.’s promoting the right to life of every human being from the moment of conception to natural death. Again you are welcome to take one and send it to your local T.D.

The Alpha Course “ Is there more to life than this?” You are invited to be our Guest at the Alpha Course continues in Fermoy this week. This is a 10 week Free Course exploring the meaning of life from a Biblical/ Christian perspective. Venue: Fermoy Youth Centre Wed. 10th October at 7.30pm. To book a place telephone Rev. BUSY OCTOBER FOR FERMOY SENIOR CITIZENS
October is looking like a busy month for the Fermoy Senior Citizen’s Association. The association will hold their annual flag day on Friday the 12th of October and will travel to Dublin for a tour on Monday 15th October until the 17th October next. The Autumn Social will take place in The Rowing Club Fermoy on Friday 19th of October when Mass will be celebrated followed by light refreshments and a night of dancing to the music of Edmond O’Gorman and Pacific Blue and finally the Autumn Jamboree will take place in the Hazel
Tree Mallow on Bank Holiday Monday 29th October, all enquires to Frances 086 8762355.

FERMOY SENIOR CITIZENS TRIP TO DUBLIN
Tour to Dublin on the 15th- 17th October next, staying Tara Towers Hotel, Ballsbridge for two nights to include dinner, B&B, a night of dancing and visit to Croke Park Museum, the Guinness Brewery, a Georgian House Museum, Kildare National Stud and Japanese Gardens and a shopping trip to Dundrum and Kildare outlet shopping centres. Total cost to include all travel, meals and accommodation and entrance fees only €200 per person sharing!
