The Blessed Sacrament Chapel The following hours need covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel – 4-5am Monday ,2-3pm on Tuesday, morning,   10-11 am Friday ,12 noon to 1pm on Friday and 1-2pm Saturday afternoon. If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.                                                                                     First Friday: Friday next 5th December is The First Friday of the month. Additional Mass in The Queen of Peace Church at 9.30am. Confessions in St. Patrick’s on Thursday 12noon to 1.00pm.

Church Door Collector’s Thanks to group one who collected for the month of November. Group Three can take up duty for December from next weekend the 7th December please.

Thank You from Fr Damien Lynch: I would like to thank sincerely everybody who attended the Pitch and Putt Club on Sunday evening the 19th October to mark my departure from Fermoy Parish. I am also very grateful to all who contributed to the presentation made to me on the day and to all who have sent good wishes since my transfer became known last July. The occasion was a reminder to me of the warmth and kindness I experienced during my time among you and I hope that you will be kind enough to remember me in your prayers. You may be assured of mine. God bless you all.

Fr Damien Lynch                                                                                 Monday 8th December: Monday week is the 8th December The Feast of The Immaculate Conception of The Blessed Virgin Mary. A Holy Day of Obligation. When a Holy Day of Obligation falls on a Monday, it means there is NO 6.30 pm evening Mass in The Queen of Peace Church on the Sunday. Therefore next Sunday the 7th December there is No 6.30 Mass in The Queen of Peace Church. The Vigil Mass of The Holy Day will be in St. Patrick’s at 7.30pm.

Fermoy Community Resource Centre, 42 McCurtain Street is celebrating 25 years in the community this December.  The board of management would like to invite you to join with them in marking this significant milestone.  On Friday 5th December we are hosting an “Open House” from 6 -9pm.  On the night refreshments will be served, music will flow through the building, exhibition of paintings & photographs, there will be local market stalls in the courtyard full of craft and treats and someone special for the children too.  We look forward to seeing you on the night.
