The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours needs covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Thursday 2pm to 3pm, Friday 1am to 2am & Saturday 2pm to 3pm. If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.
1st Friday: Next Friday 7th August is the first Friday of the month. Mass in Queen of Peace at 9.30am. No Confessions on Thursday 6th August in St Patrick’s church, Confessions as usual on Saturday 12 Noon to 1 pm.
Parish Office: Will be closed from Monday 3rd August to Monday 10th august for Annual Holidays.

Liam’s Lifts: Are very grateful to Fermoy Golf Club for kindly holding their 2015 Captain’s Charity Classic in aid of our service. This event is a 3 ball scramble and is being held on Friday, 14 August. All support would be very much appreciated. Liam’s Lifts is a community based, volunteer transport service that organises drives for members of our community who need to attend oncology appointments and treatments. If you know of anyone who could avail of our service or if you would like to become a volunteer driver please give us a call anytime on 086 7257218.
Avondhu Blackwater Partnership operate an outreach office in Fermoy, Tuesdays and Thursdays to provide the following:

Fermoy Senior Citizen’s Association: will travel to Westport County Mayo on the 18th to 21st of August staying in the Castle court Hotel. We will visit Knock, Father Peyton’s Memorial Centre and other places of interest not covered in previous trips. The total cost of trip to include the bus, hotel, breakfasts and four evening meals just €300, a single supplement of circa €15 per night pp. Contact Frances on 086 8762355, deposit of €100 payable.
Cairde Maithe, supported by The Crystal Project: Is a volunteer visiting service developed to provide companionship and support for people with dementia in Mallow and throughout North Cork. We are always on the lookout for friendly, caring and dependable volunteers from all walks of life to join our team. 1st Friday/Saturday – Vigil of Reparation in Adoration Chapel. Begins at 8.3o p.m. and ends at 1.30 a.m. Mass at 12 Midnight. All welcome.
Carraig an Aifrinn Devotions: The traditional devotions at Carraig an Aifrinn will be held on Sunday 16th August at 4.00 p.m. A church gate collection to defray the cost of insurance and maintenance at the site will be held on Friday evening 14th and Saturday morning 15th. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
