The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours needs covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Monday 6 am to 7 am, Wednesday 1 pm to 2 pm              

Thursday 11 am to 12 noon & Saturday 2 pm to 3 pm.       

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.

 

Fermoy Legion of Mary:  The Annual Legion of Mary Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday 27th Sept 2015. Bus will leave Pearse Sq. at 7am sharp and return at 10pm. Bookings can be made through Mary 0876374802 or Maura 0861231368 or any member of the Legion of Mary          

In honour of the “THE EXALTATION OF THE CROSS”. Rosary will be recited by Canon Fitzgerald on Corrin hill at 3.pm this Sunday the 13th of September. This is an annual event and all are welcome.

Volunteer Computer Tutors Wanted for over 55’s: Volunteers needed to support over 55’s learning basic computer skills. FERMOY ACTIVE RETIREMENT ASSOCIATION: Will hold a meeting on Wed Sept 16th at 2.30pm in the Youth and Community Centre, Ashe Quay. Mr. Sean Roche who specializes in management of mind and body health issues will share his knowledge with us at this meeting. A meeting not to be missed .Refreshments served.

Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning: A fundraising coffee morning is being hosted in Fermoy to raise funds for Marymount University Hospice next Thursday 17th September in the kitchen of Fermoy Community Resource Centre on McCurtain Street from 11am – 1pm.  For a €2 donation you can enjoy a cuppa & a chat with others in the community and together help raise much needed funds for Marymount Hospice.  As you may be aware Marymount University Hospice provides the specialist palliative care service for Cork City & County, which strives to meet the needs of patients and their families when illness is at an advanced

National Eucharistic Congress 2015:  The Irish Church will celebrate a National Eucharistic Congress on the weekend of 26th-27th September at knock Shrine. The Congress will serve both as a spiritual preparation for the 51st International Eucharistic Congress 2016 in Cebu next January & as an opportunity to focus on the Eucharistic communion. The National Eucharistic Congress, which is free of charge, will have a particular focus on Marriage & the Family as well as the Year of Consecrated Life & the upcoming Jubilee of Mercy.
