The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours needs covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Monday 6 am to 7 am  ,                       Tuesday 10 am to 11 am,                               Wednesday 5 am to 6 am                  Wednesday 1 pm to 2 pm,                          Thursday 11 am to 12 noon              Saturday 2 pm to 3 pm ,                       Saturday 5 am to 6 am          &         Sunday 8 pm to 9 pm( needs covering for only  the next six weeks).

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.

 Urgent Appeal from Children’s Liturgy Group: We are urgently appealing for adults to help out with the group. Contact Siobhan 086 3354727 or Patricia 096 1067298.

 Parish Council: Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Parish Council please contact either any present member of the council, any of the priests, or the parish office for details.  Also required volunteers to assist the parish Council once or twice a year.                                                                                    

St Joseph’s Young Priests Society: Meeting takes place on Wednesday 7th October in the Blue Nuns Convent after 10 am Mass. All welcome

The Thrift shop at the Resource Centre requires ladies and gents clothes, also children’s clothes, bric a brack. . Can be collected, phone 087 9439550. Thank you.

Fermoy Flower & Garden Club: October meeting takes place on Tuesday 6th Oct in Adair Hall at 8pm. Demonstration by Margaret Ahern, Aherla.  Theme Treasures from the winter garden. Competitions (1) 3 Dahlias mixed (2) potted plant 8 inches. Non-members welcome.

FERMOY ACTIVE RETIREMENT ASSOCIATION: Will hold a meeting on Wed Oct 7th at 2.30pm in the Youth and Community Centre, Ashe Quay. Mr. Sean Roche who specializes in management of mind and body health issues will share his knowledge with us at this meeting. Re-scheduled Home Design Workshop by Gerry Condon to raise funds for wheelchair accessible transport for Cope Fermoy(previous event cancelled due to the untimely death of Mr. Pat Fenton, ar dheis Dé go raibh a ainm dílis)Interior Architect & design Consultant Gerry Condon presents a home Design Workshop in the Youth Centre Fermoy on Fri 9th Oct at 8pm. Get a photograph of a problem area in your home to gerrycondondesign@eircom.net by Mon 5th Oct to incorporate it in his presentation. Admission €20, includes a cheese & wine reception & a €10 voucher provided by Toss Bryan.
