The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours needs covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

 Wednesday 1 pm to 2 pm,         Thursday 11 am to 12 noon,      

  Saturday 2 pm to 3 pm. If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.

 Feast of All Saints 1st November a Holy Day: Sunday next is The Feast of All Saints. Vigil Mass on Saturday at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church. Masses on Sunday 1st Nov. at 8.30am & 6.30 pm in The Queen of Peace Church and at 10.30am and 12noon in St. Patrick’s Church.

 Church Door Collector’s: Thanks to Group Four who collected for the month of October, Group One can take up duty from next weekend the 1st November.

Maranatha Ecumenical prayer Group: Next meeting is postponed from Wednesday 28th Oct to Wednesday 4th November, when Linda Stalley, a leader of Maranatha UK will be guest speaker at 8 pm in the Blue Nuns Convent. All Welcome.

Parish Radio: The parish radio is back up and working again. Thanking you for your patience.

‘Fermoy Text Alert for Fermoy- Sign up now’: Application forms available at Resource Centre, McCurtain St., Shinnicks Spar, McDermott Place and Noel McCarthy’s Carryout, Emmet Street. Completed forms with fee of €10 should be returned before our next meeting on the 2nd November in a sealed envelope to one of these locations. Next meeting on Monday 2nd November in The Community Centre at 8 pm.

The Fermoy Senior Citizen’s Association: would like to thank all who contributed so generously to our recent flag day. We will be travelling to the Autumn Jamboree to be held in the Hazel Hotel, Mallow on Monday the 26th of October. The total cost including transport, meal and dance is €27.00. Please contact Frances on 086 8762355 for more details.                                            Fermoy 1916 Commemoration Committee: A Irish night of traditional music & song will take place on Saturday 31st October at Fitzgibbons Bar at 9.30 pm. So come along & have the craic while supporting the men & women of 1916

6 Week Caring for Our Well-being Course at Fermoy Resource Centre, on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 – 9.45pm from 3rd Nov – 8th  Dec.  This course is designed to support people to take charge of their own well-being. To book a place please contact Kathleen or Liam on 025 32962.Cost €15

Fermoy Whist Drive in Fermoy Education Centre will not be held on Sunday October 25th

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: At present we are updating the Rota for the Adoration Chapel. There is a lot of hours with only one person. It was suggested if we could set up a list of Names & contact details of people as backup who would be willing to help out these people the odd time that they might not be able to attend their hour . Please give your details to either any of the Priests or to the parish office. Thanking you in advance for your support.                                                                                                                                           

November Visits & Prayers in Fermoy Cemeteries:The Annual visits & prayers to our cemeteries will take place on Sunday 1st November.  Castlehyde Cemetery at 2.30pm;   Kilcrumper Old at 3.00pm   which will be followed by Kilcrumper New.

November Masses for the Faithful Departed:The   November Envelopes and Lists   for   Masses for the Faithful Departed are now available.  Please    include the names of your loved ones you want to remember on these lists.  Bishop Crean   and  the  Fermoy  Priests will   offer  12  Masses  each    for  those   named  on  The  November  List of The Dead. Envelopes & lists    can be returned anytime during the month of November
