 The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours need covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

 Wednesday 1 pm to 2 pm,   Thursday 11 am to 12 Noon

Thursday 5 pm to 6pm        Saturday 2 pm to 3 pm.

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.                                                                                                                   

St Padre Pio Prayer Group: The November Mass and Novena Prayers will take place at St Patrick’s church, Fermoy on Tuesday the 10th November at 7.30pm. Everyone welcome. The petition box will be in the usual place at the back of the church. St Padre Pio calendars for 2016 will be on sale at the door, at a cost of €2 each.

Fermoy Parish office: The office will be closed from Friday 13th November to Thursday 19th November. Please contact any of the priests if required. Thanking you.

 November Masses for The Dead: The Annual Remembrance Mass for those who died in Fermoy parish during the past 12 months will take place in St Patrick’s Church on Friday Nov 13th at 7.30pm.

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: At present we are updating the Rota for the Adoration Chapel. There is a lot of hours with only one person. It was suggested if we could set up a list of Names & contact details of people as backup who would be willing to help out these people the odd time that they might not be able to attend their hour . Please give your details to either any of the Priests or to the parish office. Thanking you in advance for your support. 

The Annual mass for the Deceased Members of the various Clubs& Societies in Fermoy: will take place on Friday 20th Nov at 7.30 pm in St Patrick’s Church. Any Club or Societies who want their deceased member to be remembered at this mass should contact Trish at the Parish office, Phone 025 30856 or 087 7633406

November Masses for the Faithful Departed:The   November Envelopes and Lists   for   Masses for the Faithful Departed are now available.  Please    include the names of your loved ones you want to remember on these lists.  Bishop Crean   and  the  Fermoy  Priests will   offer  12  Masses  each    for  those   named  on  The  November  List of The Dead. Envelopes & lists    can be returned anytime during the month of November

Remembrance Sunday 8th November: at the famine & the Military graveyard at 2.30pm. Service at Christ Church at 3.30pm. Refreshment’s served.

St Joseph’s National School Presents: Liam Lawton Christmas Tour with special guests’ St .Joseph’s National School choir on Sunday 13th December in St Patrick’s church Fermoy at 8pm, Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets for sale from Fr P.J O Driscoll, St Joseph’s School, Shinnick’s, Amber, and the Book Shop & Topaz Dungarvan at a cost of €20. Please support

           

Befriending Volunteers Needed: We are currently recruiting Befriending Volunteers to join the Community Connect team.  Befrienders will be trained and Garda Vetted before visiting or telephoning an older person in their community.  Befrienders will provide company, conversation and a friendly face to someone who feels lonely or isolated.  If you would like to know more please contact Mary at Avondhu Blackwater Partnership, Tel: 022/46584.                                                                                                   

Fermoy Community text alert Service; is up & running, from this weekend members can avail of the texting services .We continues to recruit new members up to Friday 20th November. Application are available from Shinnick’s spar, Resource Centre & Carry Out at a cost of €10.                                

St Colman’s College OPEN NIGHT for Prospective Pupils; Thursday 12th November 2015 at 7pm. Principals address at 8 pm.
