The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours needs covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Sunday 9 pm to 10 pm (for a month or two)  

 Tuesday 10 am to 11 am,           Wednesday 1 pm to 2 pm,        

Thursday 11 am to 12 noon,        Saturday 2 pm to 3 pm.

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.

 St Padre Pio Prayer Group: (please note change of date) The December Mass and Novena Prayers will take place at St Patrick’s church, Fermoy on Tuesday the 15th December at 7.30pm. All welcome

 November Remembrance Tree: Name cards of people deceased over the past 12 months that were placed on the Remembrance Tree can be collected from the parish office if any family member would like to have.

Fermoy Legion of Mary: Annual Newsletter will be on sale at all Masses this weekend. Price €2                                                                         

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of The Blessed Virgin Mary: a Holy Day of Obligation on Tuesday 8th December.

FERMOY SENIOR CITIZEN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY:

Fermoy Senior Citizen’s Association 2016 Christmas Party will be held in the Rowing Club Fermoy on Tuesday the 15th of December. A full three course Christmas dinner, music by Patsy and Eileen. Christmas raffle with lots of special prizes. Tickets are €15 and this will include entry to the raffle and no other raffle tickets will be sold on the night. For tickets contact Frances on 086 8762355 or any committee member.

Fermoy and District Rotary Remembrance Tree: The Christmas Tree will again be in the car park of Riordans Super Valu on Fri 11th and Sat 12th, proceeds will be donated to the local branch of Saint Vincent de Paul.  You can place a ribbon on the tree in memory of your loved one.  The Tree will be blessed by the local clergy on Fri 11th at 11am.  Your support would be appreciated.

 Carmelites Nuns Tallow: We invite you to A Christmas Call to Parish Pastoral Council Members_ on Sunday Dec 6th 3-5pm for Christmas Reflection on the meaning and role of the Parish Pastoral Council this Christmas. We conclude with Evening Prayer.  Our facilitators are Sr. Clare and Michael Geaney who have vast experience in Parish and Diocesan Pastoral Ministry.

A Christmas Invitation to Eucharistic Ministers and Readers. On Sunday Dec 13th 3-5pm for Christmas Reflection on the meaning of your ministry as Eucharistic Ministers and Readers. We conclude with Evening Prayer. Sr Clare will lead our reflection .You will be most welcome.

Advent Reflection, prayer & Ritual; Facilitated by Monica Brown & Hilary Musgrave  takes place on Saturday 12th December  from 10 am to 1 pm at Solas Bhride Centre Kildare. €20 per person (Morning tea included). Drop in for people bereaved by suicide: Our December drop in for people bereaved by suicide takes place on Monday 7th Dec At 7.30 pm to 9.oo pm at Fermoy community resource centre The lead up to Christmas & the New Year can raise quite a lot of emotions and this group offers a safe & supportive space for you to talk about your loved one; please bring along a photo of your loved one and a candle.
