The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours needs help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Sunday 3 pm to 4 pm, Wednesday 7 am to 8 am, & Thursday 5 pm to 6 pm
If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know
1st Friday: 6th May is the first Friday of the month. Mass in Queen of Peace at 9.30am.Confessions on Thursday 5th May 12 to 1pm in St Patrick’s church.
Cloyne Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock: Will take place Sunday 8th May 2016. Bus will depart Parse Sq. Fermoy 7am sharp & return 10pm. Names to be given to Mary 087 6374802 or Maura 086 1231368 or to any member of the legion of Mary. This is an ideal Pilgrimage for the year of Mercy. All Welcome
Fermoy Senior Citizens Social Night: Will hold a social on Friday 13th May at Fermoy Rowing Club. Mass celebrated at 7.30 pm followed by light refreshments & dancing to the music of Pat & Eileen from Curraghaglass. All welcome.

Fermoy 1916 Rising Centenary Commemoration Committee: Will hold a Mass on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May at 10.30 am in St Patrick’s Church to commemorate the Men & Women of 1916 Rising. All schools, clubs & organisations are invited to take part. After Mass a parade from Chapel Sq. to Pearse Sq. will follow unveiling 2 plaques along the route also the reading of the Proclamation & unveiling of a plaque on the Bridge which will be named Kent Bridge. Oration to be given by Thomas McDonaghs great Granddaughter Michelle Drysdale

Fermoy Active Retirement: Group meeting on Wed 4th May@2:30 in Fermoy Youth Centre. Guest speaker on the day, Veronica Whyte, speaking about her many travels and Antarctica expedition-slides included.
The Irish Cancer Society’s Volunteer Driver Service: Are seeking volunteer drivers to drive local patients to & from their chemotherapy treatments in CUH & the Mercy University Hospital, Cork. We are looking for volunteers to pick local patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick local patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment & bring them home. A SAFETALK training workshop: Take place on Thursday 5th May from 7- 10 pm. Safe talk is a 3 hour interactive workshop & is suitable for everyone who wants to help prevent suicide & is prepared to become suicide alert. 7.30 pm Mass Thursday 5th May: The 7.30 pm Mass will take place in the Adoration chapel for this night only due to the Gala Concert being held in St Patrick’s church.
