The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours needs help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Tuesday 1 am to 2 am                 Thursday 11 am to 12 noon,        

Thursday 3 pm to 4 pm               Thursday 5 pm to 6 pm,          Saturday 7 pm to 8 pm,    

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.

Annual Mass in the Cemeteries for Fermoy: The Annual Mass in the Fermoy area for the cemeteries will take place on Tuesday 12th July at 8.15pm in Kilcrumper old Graveyard.

Cloyne Diocesan Pioneers: The Annual Matt Talbot; International Pioneer Association Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine for the Cloyne Diocesan Pioneers of The Sacred Heart will be held on Sunday 17th of July 2016.Bus leaving Fermoy at 7.00am. MITCHELSTOWN PASTORAL PARISH COUNCIL: Are organising a trip to the Holy door at St Colman’s Cathedral Cobh on Saturday July 09th to celebrate the Year of Mercy. The day will include:- Mass in St Colman’s Cathedral, tour of Cathedral and the Holy Door, Refreshments, free time in Cobh, 3 course meal and return coach.  The bus will leave Mitchelstown at 8.30am returning at 7.30pm.  Pick up in Fermoy can be arranged. The cost for the day is €30 and is payable upon booking at Mitchelstown Parish Office by July 08th.

Fermoy lions Club annual Midsummer Bar-B-Que: In aid of Chernobyl Children’s group, and special Needs Support Group Fermoy. At the Forge Bar and Restaurant, on Sunday July 10th from 5 pm to 9 pm. Music and entertainment guaranteed. Adults €10, Children €2. All welcome.

The Irish Cancer Society’s ‘Volunteer driver Service: Is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments. We are looking for volunteers from all over North Cork to pick local patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment and bring them home. FERMOY COMHALTAS CEOLTÓIRÍ ÉIREANN wish to announce that their annual summer show SEISIÚN will run from Monday 4th July for seven weeks in the Adair hall. The show will have its usual mix of music, song and dance with refreshments served at the interval.

Special Olympics Club: After an initial meeting with Special Olympics Development Officer Sandra O Donoghue, we are now looking for interested members of the community to volunteer their time or become active committee members of a new Special Olympics Club.Volunteers and Committee members are essential to the formation of this club. The Crystal Project: The community dementia project in north Cork, led by the HSE, are currently looking for volunteers in the area. We are on the lookout for kind, caring and dependable people to join our team of social volunteer visitors.
