The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours needs help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Tuesday 1 am to 2 am,           Thursday 11 am to 12 noon,        

Thursday 3 pm to 4 pm         & Friday 6pm to 7 pm 

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.

St Padre Pio Prayer Group: The August Mass and Novena Prayers will take place at St Patrick’s church, Fermoy on Tuesday the 9th August at 7.30pm. The petition box will be in the usual place at the back of the church. All welcome. 

Church Gate Collection: The church Gate Collection for the urgent up -keep of Corrin Cross will take place next weekend the14th August. Please give generously

Fermoy senior citizen’s association: summer outing on Saturday the 13th August 2016 to the beautiful city of Waterford. Our tour will include refreshments in the Granville Hotel in Waterford on arrival followed by a tour of the Bishop’s Palace, the Medieval museum and a tour of the House of Waterford Crystal, spot of shopping in the city before enjoying a three course meal in the Granville Hotel. The bus will leave Fermoy at 9 am and return no later than 11.15 pm. The total cost for the day all-inclusive is just €45. To reserve your place please contact Frances on 086 8762355 or any committee member. We look forward to seeing you on what promises to be a  lovely tour.

As part of National Suicide Prevention Week: (September 5th -11th 2016); Fermoy based Community Health worker Jacinta McCormack will be delivering a 3 hour suicide alertness workshop called safeTALK in Fermoy on Thursday the 8th of September (7-10pm).  This FREE training is suitable for anyone over 18 years of age who wants to help prevent suicide and is prepared to become suicide alert.  Early booking is advisable as places are limited.

ST CATHERINE’S CEMETERY BALLYNOE, ANNUAL MASS: The annual Mass will be held outdoors in the Cemetery on Wednesday 17th August at 7.30pm (if wet weather, the Mass will be held in Ballynoe Church at the same time instead).Families are invited to tend own graves. Community clean-up Saturday 13th August.

Queen of Peace Church__Saturday 15th at 8.30 am                                   There will be no 6.30pm Mass in the Queen of Peace on Sunday 14th August.

 Carraig an Aifrinn Devotions: The traditional devotions at Carraig an Aifrinn knockananig will be held on Sunday 21st August at 4.00 p.m.  A church gate collection to defray the cost of insurance and maintenance at the site will be held on Sunday evening 14th August & Monday morning 15th. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
