The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours needs help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Tuesday 1 am to 2 am,           Thursday 11 am to 12 noon,                

& Friday 6 pm to 7 pm

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.

1st Friday: 2nd September  is the first Friday of September Mass in Queen of Peace at 9.30am.Confessions on Thursday 1st September 12 to 1pm in St Patrick’s Church.

Friday/Saturday – Vigil of Reparation in Adoration Chapel. Starts 8.3o p.m. to 1.30 a.m. Mass at 12 Midnight. All welcome

Maranatha Ecumenical Prayer Group: Next meeting Wednesday 31st August in The Blue Nuns at 8pm. All Welcome

Community Food Initiative Showcase, Mallow: On Monday the 5th Of  September, Avondhu Blackwater Partnership CLG will host a Showcase event at the Mercy Centre, Mallow Admission to the showcase is FREE and all are welcome to attend. If you have any queries, please call 022 46580 or

Corrin Cross Committee: Would like to thank all who helped us on our Annual Collection on Sunday 14th August. The Committee raised an amazing  €960.40 for the upkeep of Corrin. These funds are used for the general upkeep of the stations, public Liability insurance and the restoration of the figure that is planned for later this year. We would like to thank the community for their generosity of contributions as none of these things would be possible without them.

 Fermoy Legion of Mary:  The Annual Legion of Mary Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday 25th Sept 2016. Bus will leave Pearse Sq. at 7am sharp and return at 10pm. Bookings can be made through Mary 0876374802 or Maura 0861231368 or any member of the Legion of Mary.

Clothes Collection supporting Friends of Calcutta [CHY 13218] on Monday August 29th collection at 6pm in St Patricks church Yard. Clothes can be left in the churchyard all day Monday up to Collection at 6pm. All items of clothing, footwear, bedsheets, curtains etc. most welcome in any condition. Church Door Collector’s: Thanks to Group Two who collected for the month of August, Group Three can take up duty from next weekend the 4th September.

Children’s Liturgy: We hope to return to the Children’s Liturgy mid-September.  However, as a couple of our adult leaders have stepped down this year we could do with some help please.   If you are available to help one Sunday every 4 or 5 weeks we would be delighted to hear from you.
