The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours needs help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Sunday 12 midnight to 1 am,  

Thursday 11 am to 12 noon, 

 Friday 12 midnight to 1 am 

 Friday 6 pm to 7 pm     

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short time please let one of the priests know.

Parish Council Members: Station envelopes can be collected in either the Parish Office or the sacristy for distribution. Thanking you for your continued support.

Church Door Collector’s: Thanks to Group Three who collected for the month of September, Group four can take up duty from next weekend the 2nd October.

DISCOVERING YOUR ROOTS: As part of our senior programme an introduction to family history/genealogy will be given by James Quain of Cork Genealogical society at The Mill, Castletownroche on October 11th from 11am to 1pm.  Admission €2.  Limited seating so please reserve seat by contacting Mary at 022/46584

Blackwater Vintage Car Group: Will hold a fun Drive in aid of Cope Foundation Fermoy on Sunday 25th September at 12 noon starting at the Town Park gates. Party at 2 pm in the Town Park. Please support. 

Autumn Stations 2016: A list of dates & times for all station areas are posted at the back of the church in both St Patrick’s & Queen of Peace Church. All are very welcome to attend the stations.

Appeal for Church door collectors: Due to a couple of people standing down over the past year  if anyone could help out for  just a few months during the year or for any length of  time  we would be very grateful to hear from you. Appeal for Adoration Chapel: As The Work Is Near Completion in The Adoration Chapel, We Are Appealing For People To Consider Taking Up An Hour To Spend Before The Lord. IF YOU CANT MAKE A FULL COMMITMENT TO AN HOUR,WE WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL IF YOU WOULD CONSIDER SHARING WITH THOSE ON THEIR OWN AND MAY NEED A BACK-UP AT TIMES.WE ALSO NEED TO EXTEND THE” BACK-UP LIST” TO RELIEVE THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN SO GENEROUS WITH THEIR HELP THUS FAR.
