The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours needs help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.                                        

 Tuesday 4 am to 5 am,         

 Wednesday 12 midnight to Thursday 1 am,                       

If you can cover any of these hours, even for a short while please let one of the priests know.

St Padre Pio Prayer group: The March Mass and Novena prayers will take place in St Patrick’s Church Fermoy on Tuesday 14th March at 7.30 pm. All welcome. The petition box will be in the usual place at the back of the church. Death of Fr Ermelindo of San Giovanni Rotondo. Fr Ermelindo recently passed to his eternal reward. Fr Ermelindo spoke English and travelled all over the world speaking about St Padre Pio.

 Morning Mass Wednesday 15th March:  Morning Mass will take place at 7.45 am  on Wednesday 15th March  as There will be no 10 am Mass  on Wednesday 15th  March in St Patrick’s Church due to Confirmation taking place at 11 am in St Patrick’s Church.                                                                                 

 Maranatha Ecumenical prayer Group: Meeting Wednesday 1st March in The Blue Nuns at 8pm. All Welcome

Walton Lecture entitled:  Cosmic Chemistry: Do God and Science Mix? will be given by Professor John Lennox, Department of Mathematics, Oxford University at 7.30 pm on the evening of Tuesday 28th March in Devere Hall, UCC. This is a public lecture and is open to anyone interested. The Walton Lecture each year explores the interphase between religion and science.

Fermoy Active Retirement: Fermoy Active   Retirement    group   meeting   on wed   next 15th March   at 2.30 pm in Fermoy Youth Centre.  Guest speaker on the day- Amy Murphy-Alzheimer’s   Association  

Raising Awareness about Sugar: A talk by Eddie O Reilly on Sugar and its perils’ takes place on Tuesday 14th March at 6.45 pm in Lyons O Reilly Pharmacy Fermoy. All welcome

Confirmation: Most Rev William Crean, D.D, Bishop of Cloyne will confirm the Boys and Girls of Bishop Murphy Memorial School, Clondulane N.s,  Grange N.S, Presentation N.S and Gaelscoil De hÍde   at 11 am on Wednesday 15th March. We wish all the Boys and girls a very happy and holy Confirmation. 

St. Patrick’s Day 2016:  Friday next 17th March is St. Patrick’s Day, The Feast of our National Apostle & Patron Saint, A HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION. THE Vigil Mass of St. Patrick will be at 7.30 on Thursday16th in St. Patrick’s Church. Masses on Friday 17th will be at 8.30am in The Queen of Peace Church and at 10.30am and 12noon in St. Patrick’s Church.  Note: There is NO evening Mass on Friday 17th March.  

Fermoy Parish Office: The Parish Office will be closed on Tuesday 14th March & Wednesday 15th March
