The Blessed Sacrament Chapel:  The following hours needs help covering in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.                                       

 Tuesday 4 am to 5 am,  

  Wednesday 12 midnight to Thursday 1 am,                      

Thursday 2 am to 3 am   Urgently Needed ,

Thursday 3pm to 4 pm  & Sunday 1am to 2 am

If you can cover any of these hours,  please let one of the priests know.                                                                                        

 St. Patrick’s Altar Society are currently looking for new members. Anyone interested in helping with the flowers on the altar please phone 086/3383349.

Church Door Collector’s Thanks to Group One who collected for the month of March, Group Two can take up duty next weekend the 2nd April

Maranatha Ecumenical prayer Group: Meeting Wednesday 29th March in The Blue Nuns at 8pm. All Welcome 

Legion of Mary Visitation: Legion of Mary members from around the country will be visiting our parish on Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th April 2017. They will be visiting homes on behalf of the parish. Please see notice at the back of the church.                                                             

  Station of the Cross: on Corrin every Sunday at 3 o clock during Lent. Sunday 26th march is the turn of Glanworth & Ballindangan. All welcome

 The Greater Chernobyl cause: A coffee morning will take place on Sunday 2nd April from 11 am to help raise funds for Ciara Turner & her friends to travel to Kazakhstan

Cloyne Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock: Will take place Sunday 14th May 2017 All Welcome. Contact Mary 087 6374802 or Maura 086 1231368

Gael Scoil de hÍde fermoy: Family night at the dogs on Saturday 1st April Curraheen park 1st race 8 pm .cost €10 Proceeds to fund an astro Turf at the new School. A great night & don’t forget if you can’t make it, every ticket will be included in a draw for €1,000. Tickets for sale from school office or 086-8879298 / 087-8189947       

Fermoy Rotary Club: Will hold a coffee morning in the Grand hotel on Wednesday 29th March from 10 am to 12 Noon. This is in aid of the war on polio which is nearly won. Admission free & there will be a raffle for two generous hampers

Fermoy Friendship Week (27th March – 1st April); Events are taking place over the  week -Monday–Friendship Walk, Tuesday Singing for the Brain, Thursday– Social Coffee Morning & Friendship Variety Show.  Admission €5, Friday—Curling demonstration, Saturday—Meet & Greet with our local Emergency Response Services.  Calendar of Events on Credit Union window.                                                

  Avondhu Blackwater Partnership: are hosting an Apprenticeship Information Evening at their offices in The Mill, Castletownroche on Wednesday 5th April from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. With the opportunity to speak with Elaine Murphy from Cork ETB and Vincent Hourigan FIT. Enquiries: 022/46580

 The pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima:  will visit Mitchelstown parish church Wednesday March 29th from 10am to 12noon. Mass celebrated on arrival & confessions will be available. A box for petitions will be in the church & these will be offered to Our Lady at the offertory of the Mass. They will then be taken to Fatima in September as part of the Cloyne Diocesan pilgrimage. All welcome to spend some time with Our Lady. Don’t forget your white hankie to wave goodbye to Our Lady as she leaves”
