Singing for the Brain: is an open session which provides a unique opportunity for people to come together and enjoy music and socialise with others in the community. Participants benefit greatly from the wellness aspects of singing, such as reduced stress and improved mood. No musical experience is necessary! Singing for the Brain takes place on Wednesday afternoons in the St Frances Day Centre, Rathealy Road from 2.30 – 4.00pm. For more information contact Jacinta on 085 8742320.

Fermoy Flower and Garden Club: Will host Carmel O Driscoll to give a summer demonstration on Tuesday 6th June in the Adair Hall at 8 pm. All welcome. Visitors €5. Names & money (€65 members, €70 non-members) for day outing to garnish island on 11th July will also be taken up at this meeting.

Fermoy Active Retirement group: Meeting on Wednesday 7th June at 2.30 pm in Fermoy Youth Centre. Guest on the day Rose Hickey giving a flower arranging demonstration.

Irish United nations Veterans Association Post 25:
The Fermoy branch will hold their annual mass on Saturday 10th June in the Queen of peace Church at 3 pm. All welcome

Evening Of Prayer: Evening of Prayer in thanksgiving for Our Lady’s apparitions. June 13th 7pm to 9pm Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune. Rosary in honour of the Queen of Peace and the Immaculate Heart of Mary followed by benediction and mass led by Fr. Ted Sheehan. Contact 0862959380 for queries

Fermoy Pioneers: A meeting of the Fermoy Pioneers will be held on Tuesday 6th of June in Blue Nuns Convent after the 10am. Mass.
The Fermoy Pioneers Annual Mass will be held on Thurs. 8th June in St. Patrick’s Church at 7.30pm. If any Pioneer is due to receive a pin please contact Catherine at 025 31519 or Emer at 086 8459439.Light refreshments afterwards in Blue Nuns Convent. All welcome.
Annual Pilgrimage to knock with St Joseph’s Young Priests Society: Will take place on Saturday 24th June 2016. Bus leaving Pearse Sq. at 7 am pick up also in Mitchelstown at 7.20 am, arriving back at approx. 10 .30 pm. booking at the Book Shop Pearse Sq.
