Red Wednesday November 28th:The Aid to the Church in Need is asking us to make a stand for faith and freedom on Red Wednesday, encouraging all of us to Wear Red – Light Red. The purpose of this promotion is to awaken all of us to the persecution inflicted upon us, but most especially, to remember those who give their blood for Christ and suffer torture for Him every day.We encourage you to remember this day by wearing red or show a symbol of Red in your homes or businesses.

Avondhu Blackwater Partnership: Information Evening – Finding & Recruiting New Volunteers for Community Groups – Wed. 28th Nov. 2018 @ 7.00pm at The Mill, Castletownroche – Key Speaker: Caroline Egan of CramdenTECH. All welcome.

Faith Conference: Save the Date! You are invited to a faith conference in the Town Hall Mitchelstown on Our Lady’s Great Feast, Saturday December 8th, from 9.30am to 3.30pm. The theme is: how Our Lady has preserved and helped the faith to flourish in Ireland in challenging times, and how she can do this once again. Speakers include Fr Eamonn McCarthy (Radio Maria), Canon Michael Fitzgerald, Dr Gill Doherty, Fr John Mockler, Fr John Walsh OP. Mass and confessions also included. Donation only. Time for lunch in Mitchelstown.

FREE Monthly Health & Well-Being Information Talks:. Thursday 29th November from 11am to 12 Noon in HSE St Francis Day Centre Rathealy Road. The talk will be given by Conor Gately, Fermoy Community Garda. The Talks are open to everyone and the focus is on informing and supporting people. Contact Jacinta on 085 8742320.
