The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours need help/backup with another person in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Monday 8am to 9 am, Monday 12 noon to 1pm,
Tuesday 9pm to 10pm URGENT Wednesday 12 Noon to 1pm
Wednesday 9pm to 10pm, Wednesday 1pm to 2pm
Friday 8am to 9am, Friday 7pm to 8pm, Saturday 1pm to 2pm
Sunday 11am to 12 noon, URGENT Saturday 4 to 5pm
Sunday 1am to2am Back up with another person.
If you can cover any of these hours, please let Trish in the parish office know.
The Annual November Remembrance Mass: Annual Mass for those who died in Fermoy Parish during the past 12 months will take place in St Patrick’s Church on Friday 15th November at 7.30pm. If any family have any relatives who died in the past 12 months that were late of Fermoy parish whose Funeral took place in another Parish & you wish to have them remembered at this Mass please contact the parish office by Friday 8th Nov.
November Visits & Prayers in Fermoy Cemeteries: The Annual visits & prayers to our cemeteries will take place on Sunday 3rd November. Castlehyde Cemetery at 3 pm; Kilcrumper Old at 3.20pm approx. which will be followed by Kilcrumper New graveyard
Lector’s Rota: The rotas for all the Masses are available in the Sacristy or the parish office. Thanking you for your continued support.
Maranatha Ecumenical prayer Group: Meeting Wednesday 23rd October in the Parish Centre at 8pm. All Welcome
Fermoy Pioneers: Meeting takes place on Wed. morning 30th Oct. In Fermoy Parish Centre after 10am Mass. All Pioneers are invited to attend. Anyone wishing to join are most welcome. Fermoy CLM: We have noticed that the number of Volunteers is much lower than usual. For this Group to be viable to continue, we are appealing for more People especially young People to come along & volunteer, otherwise we will just fizzle out. This is a great social outlet while helping with our special needs friends, a great way for young people to gain experience & to put on their CV. Please Contact Tony 086 2029935 or Oliver 086 8732354
Childrens Liturgy Appeal: We would be delighted if more children came to the Children’s Liturgy on Sunday mornings at 10.30 am Mass. We would especially welcome new children and those preparing for 1st Holy Communion. We follow the same routine as the beginning Mass ie light candle, say sorry prayer, alleluia, read gospel and talk about gospel message. All children welcome. Children under 5yrs must be accompanied by an adult.

When we do this at the beginning of Mass we invite God into our lives in a powerful way. In the name of the Father & of the Son & of the Holy Spirit was first spoken at Baptism when the Holy Trinity came to live in us
Holy Family Mission Glencomeragh: A night with Fr. Patrick Cahill and his young mission team. Mass, Presentation and testimony’s. At Leahys Open Farm. Friday 25th October. 7.30pm. All welcome.
The Fermoy Meals on Wheels: Are looking for volunteers to help with food preparation and cleaning in the kitchen. If you have a spare hour on a Mon, Wed or Fri morning, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Mary 025 32962.
Let’s Talk Crime Prevention: Community Garda Conor Gately to advise older adults on how to protect yourself from scammers in your home, online and on your phone. This will be followed with a sing/song and refreshments. Due to limited seating capacity booking is required by contacting Mary at 022/46580
