The Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist: are the two main parts of the Mass. The image of “two tables” is often used by the Church. From listening to the word of God, faith is born and strengthened. In the Eucharist the Word made flesh gives Himself to us as our spiritual food.

St Vincent de Paul: Would once again appreciate cash donations over the next few weeks to allow us to help needy families in the area with food vouchers for Christmas. The demand on our resources increases greatly at this time of year and your continued support is very much appreciated.

Children’s Liturgy:  We would love to see lots of children at the Children’s Liturgy each Sunday during Advent. It’s a very special time of year.  Each Sunday we will be talking time to colour in Christmas cards for the patients at Fermoy Community Hospital.  We will also be practicing our Christmas carol.  We hope to visit the hospital after Mass on Sunday 22nd December to distribute the cards. All children and parents welcome.

Whist Drive: the whist drive is cancelled in Fermoy this Sunday 8th December.
