The Blessed Sacrament Chapel: The following hours need help/backup with another person in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Monday 8am to 9 am, Tuesday 9pm to 10pm,
Wednesday 9pm to 10pm, Wednesday 1pm to 2pm,
Friday 8am to 9am, Friday 7pm to 8pm,
Saturday 4 to 5pm Sunday 1am to2am Back up with another person.
Sunday 11am to 12 Noon, Sunday 3pm to 4pm URGENT,
Wednesday 4am to 5am for 15th, 22nd, & 29th January
If you can cover any of these hours, please let Trish in the parish office know
Penitential service/Confession: Tuesday 17th December in St Patrick’s church at 8pm.
In the Liturgy of the Word: We encounter the words of God Himself spoken personally to each one of us. Scripture is both human and divine. God inspired the human writers with His own divine words. God uses the lector/reader as the instrument through whom he proclaims his Word to the people.
St Patrick’s Church Christmas Decorations: Thanks to, Paddy Crowley & John Potter teachers of Coláiste an Chraobhin, the boys & girls of transition year, Joan Crowley, Michael Reidy & Liam Fenton, Ted O Leary & Flan Groarke for decorating the Church for Christmas.

Fermoy Senior Citizens Association: Will hold their annual Christmas Party in the Fermoy Rowing Club on Sunday the 12th January 2020 at 1.00pm. A full four course Christmas dinner will be served followed by an afternoon of lively dancing to the music of Mr Declan Aungier. For tickets please contact Frances on 086 8762355 and tickets at €15 will include entry to the raffle. Tickets will be on a first come/first sold basis and as they say “when they’re gone they’re gone.
St Vincent de Paul: Would once again appreciate cash donations over the next few weeks to allow us to help needy families in the area with food vouchers for Christmas. The demand on our resources increases greatly at this time of year and your continued support is very much appreciated.
CanTalk is a cancer support service: offered free of charge to any adult affected by cancer in Mallow since 2015. Due to public demand. We are currently looking for volunteers to train with us as group facilitators. Thursday evenings, 7pm to 9pm from mid-January for 4 weeks and open to the public as service from mid-February. You will be trained and supported in this rewarding role If you are interested in this role and can offer about 4 hours per month we would love to hear from you. Everyday God: Monday 23rd December at 8pm in the Parish Centre (formerly Blue Nuns). An Evening of meditation, prayer& music to celebrate the presence of God in our daily life. Cost €5. All welcome
Children’s Liturgy: Next Sunday 22nd of December, the children will sing Away in a Manger on the altar when we come back from the Blue Nuns. Also we hope to visit Fermoy Hospital after 10.30 am Mass to distribute the Christmas cards the children made and sing some carols for the patients. We’d love to have lots of children and parents please as the patients really enjoy our visit every year.
