The Gospel: accounts are not simply stories from the past or a distant record of memories about Jesus. Since Scripture is inspired by God, the Gospels consist of God’s own words about Christ’s life. As the Church has taught “when the Sacred Scriptures are read in the Church, God himself speaks to his people, and Christ, present in his own word proclaims the Gospel.”
St Padre Pio Prayer Group: The February Mass and Novena Prayers will take place at St Patrick’s Church, Fermoy on Friday 14th February at 7.30 pm. The Petition Box will be in the usual place at the back of the Church. All welcome.
Welcome to the Catholic Church: Alan Jiangli will be welcomed into the Catholic Church at the Easter vigil in Fermoy this year, having completed the RCIA Course.In preparation for this, there will be a short Rite of Acceptance as part of the RCIA Programme at the 7.30pm Mass on Saturday 15th February
Parish Council Members: Envelopes for Spring Station & Easter will be ready on Thursday 13th February for collection from the parish office for distribution. Thanking you for your continued support.

Bridge Singsong: Singing for at least 10 minutes a day can reduce stress, clear your sinuses, improve your posture and help you to live longer. Tuesday morning. ‘Singalong’ at the Mill in Castletownroche beginning at 11am. Light chair exercises to begin, singsong & stories with some refreshments served for the chat.
