Masses for the Faithful Departed: The November Envelopes and Lists for Masses for the Faithful Departed are available at the back of the churches. Please include the names of your loved ones you want to be remembered on these lists. Bishop Crean and the Fermoy Priests will offer 12 Masses each for those named on The November List of The Dead. Envelopes & lists can be returned anytime during the month of November at any of the mases or to the Parish office.
Youth 2000 Prayer Group: For young adults 16 to 35. Second and Fourth Friday of each month at 8pm. Venue: Adoration Chapel behind St Patrick’s Church, Fermoy. New members welcome. Telephone No 086-9972539. Next meeting 28th November.
Fermoy Parish Envelope System: The weekly envelope collection is a valuable source of income to the parish. With reduced income on our Door collection, we encourage and appeal to anyone who has not yet signed up to the envelope system to do so for 2026, forms are available at the back of the Church and can be returned to the parish office. If you are already contributing using the envelope system, there is no need to complete this form. May we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of Fermoy Parish.
November Holy Hour with the Servant Sisters: Friday 21 Nov, 6:30- 7:30, before mass. Join us for a Holy Hour to pray for the souls in purgatory. The hour will include music, guided meditation, and confession. There will also be an opportunity to light a candle for your deceased loved ones.
Castlehyde Graveyard Restoration Group: Have recently published a book on Castlehyde church & graveyard. Book launch Fri. 21st Nov in The Adair Hall at 7.30 pm. Everyone welcome. All proceeds from book go towards continued maintenance of the graveyard. Copies available on the night, in local bookshops and from kieranjordanie@gmail.com. Cost €15 + p&p

Dominican Order, Hands Dirty: Weekend for Catholic Fathers and Sons, February Bank Holiday weekend, in Co. Cork. Learn basic electrics for around the home. Get your hands dirty under the hood of a car. Develop your carpentry skills. The weekend will also include Mass, Adoration, and spiritual talks. Anam Cara: Online Bereavement Information Evening on Thursday 20th of November at 7pm for bereaved parents.
Niamh Fitzpatrick will be our guest speak for the evening. She will share her own experience of grief, having suffered a traumatic loss in March 2017, when her sister, Capt. Dara Fitzpatrick, was killed with Irish Coast Guard rescue helicopter Rescue 116 crashed while out on a mission. This session may be especially beneficial for parents seeking to understand their children’s unique perspectives on grief, and those navigating traumatic or sudden losses.
